Needing legal representation can be highly stressful and can have many downstream effects on your life. You may be concerned about who may get custody of your children, how long the divorce process will take, your financial security or stability, or whether or not a loved one can be eligible to come into the country. We understand these concerns, and are ready to work with you to get through the legalities, no matter what the situation may be. We are committed to making the legal process as easy and as cost effective for you as possible, while still maintaining a personable, client focused level of service.  Our practice has been intentionally designed to remain small, so that we can provide the needed attention to every case.

We focus our entire practice on family law, and immigration law.  We can help individuals resolve custody, visitation, support and property matters without the intervention of the courts. We will partner with you, your spouse, opposing counsel and outside experts to craft solutions that minimize the time and expense of divorce, and that provide the best long-term results.

We can also help you fashion custody agreements that are in the best interests of your minor children while protecting your relationships with them. In all custody situations, we focus on minimizing the emotional harm to your children. We will not participate in any effort to use determinations of child custody as a way to punish your ex-spouse.
We also provide experienced advocacy to individuals in non-traditional relationships, including domestic partnerships and same-sex unions.  We provide representation to alternative families in the same way as we approach traditional family law matters.

Initial Consults

An initial consult is the first step towards learning what your specific case may require. During our first meeting, you will learn about your rights and obligations arising from a divorce/marriage and/or having a child with another person. The standard issues we help people address during a divorce include, but are not limited to: (1) child custody and visitation, (2) child and spousal support, (3) property/debt division and (4) attorneys fees and costs. During the consultation, we review the various options for finalizing a prenuptial agreement or obtaining a separation/divorce. Ultimately, each client must chose his/her own path, and we then assist you with the options that best suit your goals. Due to COVID-19 we are offering over the phone consultations so do not hesitate to call and schedule your appointment.
